The post Product Review: The New Volcano Hybrid is Slick as Hell appeared first on High Times.

]]>
Full disclosure: I loathe vaping cannabis flower. I find it to be a weak and cruel suggestion and I simply prefer bong rips or dabs which skip all the bullshit and force you into a death grip of buttery happiness as soon as it hits your lungs. That said, the Volcano Hybrid has genuinely made me reconsider this. It brings the science and tech of dabbing to smoking bud and makes more efficient use of your flower than a lighter would. Allow me to enlighten thee, good stoners of the world.

The classic Volcano has been around since 2000 and people still rave about it to this day. I have admittedly never used one because anytime I have $400 to spare I usually blow it on hash within minutes. I’ve long admired the way the bag system works and always meant to try one but it just never came up. I’ve tried about 100 other various flower vaporizers and hated every single one of them. They all tasted like burnt ass popcorn and I never felt like I was getting high enough.

When the Volcano Hybrid arrived at my house I wanted to leave my reaction completely up to science so I bought two eighths: one was super midsy on purpose and the other was some of the new Bad Apple from Connected (the single best eighth in the dispensary that day). I bought those two specific eighths so I could approach this from the perspectives and palettes of both an average consumer and myself.

Unpacking the Volcano Hybrid was a bit overwhelming. There’s a lot of tubes, bags and different attachments that can be confusing if you don’t read the instructions so definitely read the little quick start manual that comes with it before using.

There’s essentially two ways to use it: the classic method of filling up a pre-made bag with vapor and then inhaling from the mouthpiece attached to the bag, or you can attach a tube directly to the unit itself and inhale as you please. I tried the Bad Apple using the bag first and it took a few tries to get it right but it was a super clean and relatively flavorful hit compared to other flower vaporizers I’ve tried. In my opinion, the same flower still tasted better out of a clean bong but it actually got me higher out of the Volcano because it made more efficient use of the flower than I imagine a lighter would have. I also tend to only hit a bowl once because after the lighter touches the flower, anything remaining usually tastes charred after the first hit but each hit out of the Volcano bag had a consistent, smooth flavor.

I wanted to try two distinctly different qualities of weed because in the past, all flower tasted the exact same out of any flower vaporizer I’ve tried. To my absolute delight, not only did the good flower taste significantly better than the lower quality flower, but the midsy stuff smoked much more smoothly for me than it would have out of a pipe or a bong. I truly cannot stand to smoke mid and it was very tolerable in the Volcano Hybrid. That alone should be a testament to its effectiveness.

It’s also worth noting that I caught a bit of a cold the day after the Volcano arrived so it was very nice to have a smoking option around the house that was easier on my throat. Ultimately, I still needed a couple dabs to get where I wanted to be but my throat was appreciative nonetheless because normally I dab like a loon from sunup to sundown.

Now let’s get to the features. I compared the Volcano Hybrid to dabbing because you can choose your own experience every single time. When I’m dabbing in the morning I let my nail cool down for 82 seconds exactly but later in the afternoon when I want to get punched in the face a little bit I hit it at 75 seconds or so. The Volcano Hybrid gets me extremely wet in this regard because it has an app that lets you fully automate and customize your smoking experience with regard to temperature and air. I can set it to heat up my flower for two minutes at 190 degrees Celcius, blow air and vapor into the bag for five seconds, then heat up an additional five degrees, then blow air for ten seconds and so on. The possibilities are truly endless. The app is only available for Android at the moment but there’s a web browser version for iPhone users.

I didn’t notice much of a difference using the tube versus the bags so I mostly stuck to using the bags because frankly, it looks cool as hell. But it is nice to have the tube option when you just want to lay in bed in the morning and get super high without moving at all or waking up sleeping people with the noise from the bag.

Now comes the big question of “Is it worth the money?”

Well, it retails for about $699 and I would argue that even though I personally would not spend that money on it, I advocate that others should and here’s why:

I’m a writer and writers aren’t typically swimming in disposable income, for one. But in all seriousness I just don’t care about flower much in the first place and I have an extremely high tolerance that does not beget the smoother, less aggressive experience you get with the Volcano Hybrid compared to more traditional methods of smoking.

However, I am not most people. The overwhelming majority of consumers I talk to just want to get high without losing a lung, not to mention the extremely high number of medical cannabis patients that need to consume weed but can’t smoke it without risking lung infection or something equally as ghastly. The Volcano Hybrid is worth the money for those people. It’s the ultimate experience for people who value the cilia lining their throat cavity and want to use cannabis with minimal damage to their body.

I’d suggest patience with this machine because flower vaporization is not instant and if you want it to taste good, “low and slow” is your new motto. Let it cook for a few minutes longer at a cooler temp rather than speed up your hit by five minutes. With midsy stuff that rule goes double because it already tastes bad, you don’t need to make it taste worse.

Another tip I have is to spend the time to figure out what temperature your flower will burn best at because I promise you it will vary from strain to strain and even from microclimate to microclimate so any temperature or time suggestions I have won’t be super helpful. 190 degrees Celcius is the recommended max temp but if you don’t care as much about flavor you can ramp that up to about 206 and get a solid bagful within two or three minutes without sacrificing too much flavor.

Overall, this thing is super slick and worth the extra money over the Volcano Classic in my opinion. It won’t be a daily driver for me because I’m a hash head at heart, but this thing will definitely be getting a lot of use in my house.

The post The Mighty+ from Storz & Bickel is My New Best Friend on Road Trips appeared first on High Times.

]]>
A lot can happen in twenty years and the team of evil geniuses over at Storz & Bickel made a handheld dry herb vaporizer that works way better than any other similar product I’ve tried.

The Mighty+ is a black device about the size of a small tablet or large smartphone. There’s a very fun little screen on the bottom that displays the target temperature of the vaporization chamber, the actual temperature and how much battery life is remaining. It’s a bit heavy for its size and looks like it could easily survive light to moderate artillery fire, not that it would need to (but on the off chance our armed forces can ever smoke weed in battle someone needs to get Storz & Bickel on the phone with the Department of Defense).

It’s a very easy device to use overall, though it did take me a minute to figure out how to properly open it. It twists open from the top and there’s a little compartment for the ground flower to be placed, very similar to a bowl in a pipe actually. Then you twist the top back on and hit the power button. You use the arrows to choose your temperature and that’s literally all you have to do. It buzzes to let you know it’s at the right temperature and you are free to begin smoking. It seems to make more efficient use of a smaller amount of flower compared to traditional methods like a bong or a pipe. One bowl got me anywhere from 5-15 decent sized hits over the course of about five minutes.

I usually do not care for vaping flower. I prefer hash rosin to the face at all hours of the day or night. However, I truly enjoyed using this little device and it actually managed to get damn near the same taste quality as the more expensive Volcano Hybrid. Some hits I would argue actually tasted better, but at a certain point it’s almost not worth thinking about. Either way the taste was superb and incredibly smooth.

One thing I particularly appreciate about the Mighty+ is that it’s so simple and easy to use. I don’t even have to think about it, which is not always what I’m looking for but when I’m out and about it’s a must have. I hate lugging my dab rig, torch, carb cap and Q tips with me everywhere I go, so I often experience the outside world unmedicated and that simply will not do. But with this, all you need is the device itself and your flower. I appreciate simplicity especially on road trips because my biggest pet peeve is clutter in a car while I’m on a long drive.

storz
Courtesy of Storz & Bickel

Honestly, my one sole issue with it is for how big the thing is, I thought it would have a bit better battery life especially with a $399 price tag. It’ll definitely last through the day but if you’re really getting after it you’ll kill the battery before too long. That’s super subjective and for most average smokers it’ll last a few days without needing to be charged, but for the heads reading this just know you’ll want to keep a charger nearby if you plan to stay roasted in the long term. It also does not comfortably fit in my pants pockets but that is rarely a metric I judge anything by because keeping anything other than a lighter and a knife in my pocket feels unnatural, but to some people that’s a dealbreaker so it seemed noteworthy.

Those are my only two complaints, if you’d even call them that, because I cannot name a dry herb vaporizer made by a different company that is anywhere near comparable to the Mighty+ battery life or otherwise. Like I said before, I’m not a fan of vaping flower and that’s primarily because of the taste. I never liked that good weed tasted the same as bad weed in any of the other mods I tried.

Courtesy of Storz & Bickel

However, I tried a top shelf eighth and a bottom shelf eighth in the Mighty+ and both actually tasted excellent, but the better weed tasted significantly better. I like that because as a consumer if I spend 30 dollars more on my weed, that should be reflected in the quality of vapor smoke and I’ve only ever experienced that with Storz & Bickel products. I also think it’s cool that someone found a way to make mids taste a bit better because God knows we have enough of them lying around.

A huge bonus of this device for me is that it looks super discreet. I know stoners love smoking in the car but that shit makes me paranoid! Not only does smoke pour out the car window for every cop in the world to see but even after we’re done I will sit there for two hours worrying about getting pulled over because I know the car still smells. The Mighty+ looks like a regular nicotine vape mod or something similar and the vapor it produces is nowhere near enough to attract anyone’s attention. The vapor also doesn’t smell, which is obviously a huge benefit of vaping in general but I never used them in the car before because they never got me high enough. This thing actually makes you feel like you smoked a decent sized bowl without the added stress of people (or the police) knowing you’re roasted. My road trips have now been upgraded significantly because I can actually relax and enjoy my high instead of spending 200 miles at full clench.

Courtesy of Storz & Bickel

The Mighty+ really allows you to medicate anywhere which is the coolest part to me. Personally, I took it out with me on my daily run with my dog where I skateboard alongside her so she can run like a maniac. I live in a community full of Bible thumpers who all hate weed and not one person gave me a sour look for holding this thing in my hand, and I hit it the whole time. No one could see smoke because any vapor produced was gone in seconds. Hell, even holding it up to my mouth it could almost look like I’m drinking out of a canteen. You have to appreciate something that allows you to get high right in front of people without them having any feasible idea and while that may not be what Storz & Bickel had in mind when they made the Mighty+, it’s certainly a handy tool to keep around.

As far as the price tag goes I’d say this thing is absolutely worth the $399 it costs. I haven’t found a portable vaporizer anywhere near as effective and most of them cost about that much anyway so if dry herb vaporization on-the-go is what you’re after, may I humbly recommend the Mighty+ for your next mobile adventure.

Fans of magnetic, dual-barrel vape systems are in for a long and steady ride on a rollercoaster of terps. Left Coast Extracts pods are available in dual-barrel form, and the strain-specific extracts are more than worthy of praise. Apart from Left Coast Extracts’ 510 thread pens, cartridges, and Dablicators, the dual-barrel pod system provides consistent deep draws that fits flat and naturally.

San Diego County-based Left Coast Extracts craft solventless-focused concentrates from California-grown flower with quality that carries over in the final product. The company was founded by Alexandria Kometas and Coltin Barody, who comes from a background in the U.S. Navy and presidential honor guard.

At Left Coast Extracts, strains known for their effects are hand-selected for the extraction process, and there’s also an emphasis on the individual consumers and patients. Left Coast offers a variety of solventless consistencies including crumble, diamonds (with over 95% THC), badder, diamonds & sauce, and so on. The company has taken home multiple Cannabis Cup wins over the years at events from Denver, Colorado to Amsterdam with entries such as Jack Herer, a sativa.

The vape pod delivery system is perfect for AirBnb stays or moms and dads who want the vape to hit but also want the odor to be minimal. The pods fit together with the battery stick like a Lego, and it is held together with a magnet. It’s light enough and flat enough to forget it’s in your pocket. It’s interchangeable with similar dual barrel pens; however, Left Coast owns the patent to the pod. The colorful pod boxes provide lab results, and a QR code on the back can be scanned to provide further results.

Left Coast Extracts Premium Vape Pods Review

I started off my journey with the Gelato Premium Vape Pod (Sunset Sherbet x Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies) hybrid, which came in a red box. It contained 878 mg of THC and 1.6 mg of CBD. A quick wave of peace and warmth massaged my body. It provided a moderately strong body high—the perfect ballpark of medium potency for aficionados but maybe a bit too much for newbies. All of the Cookies, Sherbinskis, and Mario Guzman goodness is still there in oil form from this popular strain. This one in particular turned up the crank in creativity, and it made me want to create art or start a project.

Next, I opened a yellow box containing another pod with a tiny picture of an ice cream cone melting on a cake. Ice Cream Cake Premium Vape Pod (Cheesecake x Dream Cookie), an indica, contained 901 mg of THC and 1.7 mg of CBD. It’s sweet, tangy, and has a bit of vanilla nut hint. Fire up this cart before a binge on Netflix because you’re going to be somewhat cemented to the couch. It won’t render you into a deflated bog person, but you probably will lose track of time a bit after a couple of hits of the Ice Cream Cake. When I eventually came to my senses, it was a rude awakening into reality, and I remained in a pleasant haze.

NYC Diesel Premium Vape Pod had a refreshingly different taste with 939 mg of THC and 7.7 mg of CBD. I’d recommend this for people seeking out substantial levels of CBD that you’re probably not getting with smoked cannabis. NYC diesel has been around for over 20 years as a killer sativa, a Mexican sativa crossed with an Afghani cut, and it still knocks me out of the park. It provides a full-bodied high with numerous effects on mood, energy, and general well-being. The sweet chem-diesel taste and aroma, however, is the real reason most people gravitate towards NYC Diesel. For some people, it’s a flashback from the past. I took this pen along with me when I went jogging, making the activity quite a bit more enjoyable.

I popped open another pod that also provides a bit more CBD than you typically find in carts. Orangeade Premium Vape Pod, another hybrid, (Tangie x Purple Punch) contained 940 mg of THC and a whopping 9.7 mg of CBD in an orange box. This had the most powerful effect on mood out of any of the pods that I sampled. I can see the potential here for anyone facing mental conditions on their own. Orangeade flower is loaded with humulene and limonene and provides the expected citrus taste, combined with the floral/hops notes. The balanced effect is useful during multiple times of day.

Also check out vape pod flavors such as indicas like Zombie OG and Superman OG Vape Pod or sativas like Jack Herer and Blue Dream.

The post Hands On With The Puffco Proxy appeared first on High Times.

]]>
You don’t have to be a massive stoner to be familiar with Puffco. The device producer has introduced countless innovations to the concentrate segment since its inception in 2013. From improving pen technology to pioneering e-rigs, even the least engaged concentrate consumer has likely tried at least one of their products already. Not happy with settling for the status quo, Puffco is back again with another innovation to propel the hash game—and this time it’s not even water filtered.

Led by Roger Volodarsky, known to his adoring fans as “Jolly Roger,” the company’s latest product is the result of two years of serious research and development. The result is a Sherlock-style dry pipe with a modular 3D chamber vaporizer, dubbed the Puffco Proxy. While that may not be the most eloquent description, it’s hard to overstate just how big this device is going to be. Launching today for $299, I feel pretty confident in saying this little electronic bowl is going to be a hash-head’s new best friend.

Introducing the Puffco Proxy

Last week I got to sit down with Roger to discuss his latest innovation, and the reason behind the rhyme. I’ll admit, when I first heard they were producing a dry pipe, I was a bit skeptical, but I was reassured of its function before it even reached my hands. In his own words:

“This is the most fleshed out Puffco product we have ever released.” Roger told me, “By far the most tested and validated, and ran through quality control. We tested up and down with tons of internal beta testers in the company just abusing the hell out of it and seeing what it’s great at, and what it’s not great at. And we really feel like we got it to a place where it’s hard to imagine it getting any better.”

“It is the first truly modular vaporizer, where the internals completely come out and can be put into any glass form whatsoever. We’re working on our own designs that you can plug it into.” He continued, “It was really designed to be something that is really, really easy to build around, and will integrate super well with the maker community in this space.”

Courtesy of Puffco

In development since February of 2020, the 3D chamber the brand introduced last year was actually developed for the Proxy, but due to shortages in the microchip supply chain, the product is finally releasing in its final form now.

“It really started as like—the original design intention was ‘let’s make something that fits into a banger and just quickly adapts to everything.’ And then our Chief Technology Officer Avi was like, ‘what if the banger neck actually went to your mouth?’”

For The Culture, By The Culture

“Our belief is that hash is the best experience in the space. And we believe that that is what is going to grow. There is something here that is extremely flavorful, easy to dial in, and a beautiful experience for people that don’t typically like smoking. And we believe that that is what the future is, and we’re all on this path to get there together. So if there’s anything I want you to relay, it’s just that we believe that hash is the future and we’re here to build the road there with our community,” Roger explained.

“I believe, and you might not share this perspective and that’s okay, but I believe that hash culture as it is today, this American hash culture of dabs, is the most innovative and fastest growing scene in all of cannabis. There’s new types of hash every year. Like this year I saw cold cure water hash for the first time in Spain, it blew my mind, and every year there’s that mind-blowing experience. Every year there’s new consumption devices, from swing arms to honey buckets, I mean it just never ends. And I believe that is what hash culture has done for our space; it has become the home of obsession.”

I’ve long credited Puffco with lowering the barrier to entry to the concentrate space, and this latest innovation feels like a continuation of that spirit. In Roger’s head, this takes that to the next level.

“I think when it comes to the Peak, the Peak is still something that—to a complete outsider of hash—is intimidating. You’re looking at this big device, you have to load it. It’s a bong and it’s electronic. So it’s just, I think for some, unfamiliar enough that even though it’s so easy, [with the Proxy they’ll say] ‘oh my God, this is 20 times easier than what I was doing before. And I can put my friends on with this.’ I think this is such a well known form (the Sherlock) that it becomes this Trojan horse for hash culture, where if you’re into pipes, if you’ve smoked out of a bowl, you have all the context you need—just load your pipe and smoke it. Everybody is kind of familiar with that.”

But How Does It Hit?

As stated earlier, even though they’ve dialed it in, and it’s in their opinion the best-in-class experience, I still had some doubts. Dabs are known to roast your throat, and the idea of removing the water filtration entirely definitely struck me as strange, as I didn’t think you’d want to risk allowing the smoke to hit your throat at a higher temp, but I’ve got to say: I’ve had this device for just about a week now and I’m already a believer.

Courtesy of Puffco

While you’re still smoking at the same temperature you would in the Proxy’s larger older brother, there’s something about the size, and the fact that it’s a bowl, that just makes it very intuitive for hitting. You’ll know from your first hit to sip this smoke, as opposed to rip like you would a bong, and I’m actually coughing less hitting this than I did with the Peak. The ergonomics are also much more comfortable, as your hand is already used to how it feels, and you’ll feel a bit more classy than you did before, for sure.

Though the smoke doesn’t overwhelm, which alone is a big selling point, the absolute best part about the Proxy is the flavor you’ll get out of your concentrates. Better than the Peak, in Roger’s own words, this thing SPITS terps. You’ll taste new flavors out of material you’ve smoked countless times, guaranteed.

For the finer details, the device comes with a one-year warranty, and the team says from a 100% charge the Proxy will last at least 4 months in standby, but I’m fairly confident you won’t ever leave it alone that long. As a guy who primarily smokes joints, I’ve been high on a looooot more hash these past few days…

I know, I know. I’m a few days late on this one. I could blame it on the short month, or all the moving parts going on behind the scenes at High Times right now, but the optimist in me would rather just tell you that you’ll have two Cop Lists to look forward to in March. That’s a better perspective, right? Now let’s get into it.

I’m not going to front, it’s getting harder to distill these down. There’s more dope rocking now than ever, and as we start to get into the Spring there are a lot of new products begging for attention out there. Although this was probably the busiest package month ever at HQ, the cream always rises to the top, and I’ve skimmed that sweetness just for you. Out of all the flower and associated THC products I’ve seen over the past 4(ish) weeks, here’s the 411 on what you need to get your hands on.

As always, don’t forget to hit me with your favorites, especially if you haven’t seen it here yet. The world needs to know about the magic!

Field / Doja / Wizard Trees Collab

Courtesy of Field Extracts

Although originally debuting at Hall of Flowers, I was too slow to hit the booth and unfortunately missed the initial preview. Never fear though gang, the public release is here and let me tell you, this rosin was worth the wait. Now available in small batches across Glass House affiliated dispensaries, trust you will not be disappointed by either of these highly terpy cultivars. With genetics bred by Deep East and Wizard Trees, and popularized by Doja Pak, the expert extractors over at F/eld certainly impressed with this pressing. While the RS is still a fav for me, the Studio 54 was perhaps even better extracted than in its original form — which is not an easy feat.

Candypaint’s New Phenos

Back in December I started singing this guy’s praises after finally getting a chance to link at HOF. While I was just familiar with his past work at that point, it’s what he’s working on now that’s really going to elevate the visibility of this brand over the next year. From his YKTV (Horchata x 996) to the Glitterati, his upcoming drops are going to make the rest of the space green with envy, and that’s a great thing for us consumers. I’ve started to see his bags popping up with notable trappers overseas, so the gospel is definitely spreading, but trust me when I tell you, you don’t want to be the last one on this train. He’s trickling into more shops every day, and as I’ve said before, if you see it on the shelves, nothing else in the shop matters.

Alien Labs’ Omnichronic

Courtesy of Alien Labs

By now y’all know I’m way subscribed to the Alien movement. From their constantly growing (and consistently dank) portfolio of cultivars to their always flawless collections of merchandise, pretty much everything these guys do is right up my alley. However, their latest isn’t only keeping the bar high, it’s also uniquely appropriate for what was once the ‘Quarantine Cop List’. When I caught up with the brand’s founder Ted last Thursday for his weekly product QC, he gave me an exclusive first look at the newest cut to hit the market with his name on it. Dubbed ‘Omnichronic’, playing off the latest variant of that which shall no longer be publicly addressed, this one’s for sure going to put more people down than the virus. Easily one of the most photogenic buds I’ve received in a jar this year, the Omnichronic is a lighter color bud with dark purple tips, bright orange hairs, and full frost coverage; this one checks all the boxes one could desire from the top shelf.

Gas House’s Pluto

Courtesy of Gas House

Pluto’s been floating around the legacy market for years now, and while I’ve definitely heard the lore, I hadn’t actually had a chance to tap in myself. You see, the Gas House team has been known to hold it down across the country, but you never know how the quality will match on the rec market. A few weeks ago I linked up with Big Mike from their team and got my first chance to actually get hands-on with their product. It looks like the legal market has proven the brand’s resilience, because I’m here to tell you the hype is real; Pluto IS special. With a nose that almost smells like perfume, this is the type of smoke you can burn right before a fancy dinner and even the maitre d’ will ask what you’re wearing.

THC Design

Here comes the point in the list where I correct myself. In the past, I too quickly assumed THC Design was some massive venture-funded organization, and while I’ve always been a fan of their private Paramour Lounge, I’ll admit I wasn’t throwing too much praise at their product. Well friends, their new redesign has me reconsidering my whole stance. As proudly displayed on the side of their new (sustainable) packaging, THC Design is NOT ‘corporate cannabis’. Turns out, the brand started in the illicit market with just twelve lights back in the day, and have grown themselves into the machine they are today without taking a single outside dollar. Not only that, but the new branding really does feel like it’s coming from a more conscious, mature brand than what they’d been running, so I’m tapped in right now.

Cannabiotix

Courtesy of Cannabiotix

I’m sure these guys have been here before, but they’re for real putting out the best work I’ve ever seen them produce, and it’s somehow better every time I go back. I’ve long sang the praises of their Cereal Milk, as well as the L’Orange, but that Zereal Milk though? That’s the one now. Like if I could only smoke one thing for the rest of my life, this could be it. Presenting that fruity nose Zkittles is known for, and the milky finish you’d expect from CM, these buds are amongst the stickiest I’ve broken up lately, and they’re so beautiful it’s hard to even bring yourself to. That said, it’s worth the destruction, because the smoke is the true work of art.

Ain’t Nobody Cool

Courtesy of Ain’t Nobody Cool

Now when my dude Green Dawg told me he was doing a collab, I’ll admit, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Although I know my dude always comes correct with the bud, I didn’t know about these guys ANC, though their name immediately interested me. Fast forward to my sesh at their HQ and let me tell you, Ain’t Nobody Cool is a misnomer bc these dudes are amongst the coolest. From their insane style to their hilarious flips of cultural moments, these dudes are far more than a meme page. It’s worth noting that while the stylings of this bag and accompanying merch line are new, these guys have long had a collection of fire products to adorn their brand. I’m personally a huge fan of the hockey mask aesthetic, but their weed design initially went over my head — did you know those are actual police sketches? America’s Most Wanted for real!

Sacred Fruits

Courtesy of Sacred Fruits

A lot of people are trying to play in the psychedelic space right now, and while many of those operators look like they’ve probably never even smoked, let alone tripped, let me put you onto a brand you can stand on. Hailing out of California, straight up these are some of the best mushrooms I’ve ever seen, and we all know how popular they’ve gotten over the past couple years. With each package identified by specific strain, their offerings come as dried fruit, freeze-dried fruit, or micro caps right now, but they expect to add some more edible varieties to their line before long. In a sea of questionable gummies and chocolate bars, sometimes you just gotta eat the fruit!

Highsman

Courtesy of Highsman

I know celebrity brands are polarizing, but here’s one I think everyone can enjoy: Ricky Williams, the Heisman Trophy winning Running Back & NFL star who has been outspoken about cannabis for years, is officially in the game. Now, while with most celebrity brands it’s not always clear just how involved said celebrity is in the process, let me just tell you, Ricky is definitely QC’ing ALL of this product himself. In fact, I know for sure that if it doesn’t pass his test, it doesn’t go in one of his bags. Aptly named Highsman, a play on the top award he once received, the branding does a great job helping entry-level users understand the product from the onset. With cultivars branded as ‘Pregame’, ‘Halftime’, & ‘Postgame’, even the least experienced of us should have no trouble choosing the best play.

710 Labs Robot Trashcan

Courtesy of 710 Labs

People let me tell you about my beeeest friend: he’s a plastic automatic trash can that’ll love me till the end! I don’t know if that’s going to work if you didn’t know I was singing before reading it, but read it back now to the tune of that song and maybe you’ll laugh. Or maybe not, but either way, let me tell you about this trash can. You’re going to love it. It’s for your trash, and it’s automatic. You just gotta wave your hand in front of it and it opens up for you to deposit your valuables. Or trash, whatever you want. Created by 710 Labs primarily to collect used Q-Tips after dabbing, so far this thing has hidden my keys, ate my phone, and I’ve even ashed in it by accident, and it’s still in perfect brand new condition. It’s got that rubberized inside so oily residue won’t really stick to it, and it’s easy to clean. Have you ever seen anyone this hype over a trash can? Trust me, just get it.

Bonus: NYCHOS Art Show

Courtesy of NYCHOS

If you’re in or near LA, do yourself a favor and pull up to the new NYCHOS show at the MIRUS Gallery. Showing over a hundred works, many for the first time, the show displays the Austrian artist’s delve into psychedelics, with many pieces playing on either the different shakras or states of awareness our bodies experience through one of these journeys. Remixing both pop icons as well as portraits of himself and animals, the anatomical element of his work is on full display, while still managing to dabble into the unknown and subconscious. I can’t say enough good things about it. If you have the chance, pull up!

The Cop List is back to sus through the smoke and let you know which hype is real. This month featuring the world’s first legal Cross Joint, a new way to grind your greens, and as always, the latest dank.

The post Jon’s Stone-Cold Cop List #19 appeared first on High Times.

]]>
Well ladies and gents, we may only be a few weeks into January, but 2022 is already going off with a bang. From the slew of exciting IRL event announcements, to the previews of phenos coming to market later this year, there’s a lot to be excited about right now. While it seemed for a second we may see another surge to slow our return to normalcy, it’s now seeming we’re collectively over it. Whatever the case may be, whether you’re stuck in isolation or out on the town, you’re going to need some high quality fire power to get you through it, and I’m here to help you find your fix.

For those new to the Cop List, here’s the long and short of it. A LOT of new products come out every month, but not all the dope is that dope, if ya feel me. How are you, the consumer, supposed to see through all the smoke and mirrors? In the words of the Holy Opal of Trapis Designs, “[Finding the right product is] like picking steaks. There are so many varieties and cuts, but if you serve me a fucked up steak I’m probably not coming back to your spot.” Well gang, I try all of it so you don’t have to, and I’ve created this list to help y’all navigate which hype is real. I won’t necessarily call out the busters, you just won’t see them included in this collection.

As always, feel free to drop me a line to let me know what the streets have you hyped about. I’m always happy to put the smoke to the test 🙂

Highnstein’s Cross Joint

Courtesy of Highnstein

I know it’s been over 13 years since Pineapple Express came out, but if there’s one lasting impact of that movie that I can see it was the proliferation of the Cross Joint. You know, the doob with another doob cut into it about halfway through, so you can get a superior smoke ‘trifecta’, if you will. Well friends, now you don’t need to know a really good roller to experience this magic for yourself… the gang at Highnstein’s has done that hard part for you. Now available on the legal market, and at a MSRP of $25, which is far cheaper than I would’ve expected a product like this to run, I’m pleased to report that this thing isn’t just a gimmick. The cross smokes! Filled with some Zkittles x Kush Mints cultivated by a reputable brand, this is a party trick you’ll end up making part of your regular routine.

G-Funk

Courtesy of G Putt

I’ve previewed G’s work on G Putt before, but it’s clear he wanted to dial it all the way in before officially launching, and friends, let’s just say he’s more than ready. Debuting his new G-Funk cut, the pilot of his new portfolio, G’s coming into the market HOT. A proprietary cross of OG & Gelato, the new strain is a perfect culmination of G’s work in the space so far, from his humble OG beginnings to the Gelato craze he helped proliferate. With a nose that touches on the hypiest of terps—the gassy and candy smells—it’s safe to say this is going to resonate with the streets just as much as it is the upper echelon smokers. In the immortal words of Warren G & Nate Dogg’s Bay Area classic ‘Regulate’, “G-Funk. Step to this, I dare ya.”

Flower Mill

Cop List Flower Mills
Courtesy of Flower Mill

Here’s one that’s shippable and available across the world, for those reading from the other side of the country or across the pond. I’ve used a LOT of grinders, and while most of the teeth-based models are great, I was honestly sick of fighting to get all my sticky through the holes. In the past I’ve used mortar and pestle style types and while they’re good, I believe this is truly the next generation of the experience. With no teeth, but a grooved metal surface that mills your flower through it’s grates, this has quickly become my favorite way to chop it up. Delivering a fluffy yet nug-y consistency that will work filling your bowl just as well as a backwood, I highly recommend picking one of these up.

Good Greens

Good Greens cop list
Courtesy of Good Greens

I’m always on the hunt for new cultivators, and candidly one of the things I pay most attention to is not how they brag about what’s in their bag, but how they nitpick their own work striving for perfection. Good Greens finds themselves in this elite class of cultivators. While the work he showed me was miles better than many of the ‘top shelf’ cultivators in the market, it was clear he doesn’t think he’s there yet, which only makes me extremely excited to see what he puts out going forward. I saw two phenos of his upcoming Jealousy x Horchata cross, which while already out of this world, also provided a range of terps we’re not seeing super often right now, so I can only imagine how the end result will perform. Striving for originality, providing the utmost care to produce quality, AND still pushing to be better? Yeah, Good Greens has got it.

Gummy Buns

Gummy Buns cop list

Often the best flower I see isn’t labeled, it’s passed to me by a friend who knows what’s good and has something interesting they think I’ll like. Some of my favorite discoveries have been these mason jar scores that I actually smoked days later, and had to try and chase down the details for, which are not always easy to find. My most recent example of this came from my good buddy Billy from the Moxie gang. We linked up at the High Rise party during the last Hall of Flowers and he showed me some truly special buds at a time when I was already thoroughly intoxicated. When I finally came back down to earth and realized what he’d given me, I had to get the deets. This time the mystery score was the classic ‘Gummy Buns’, a cross of Biscotti and Grease Monkey that’s bred by Exotic Genetix. I’m not 100 percent if this is on shelves right now, or if this is just a sleeper private reserve cut, but either way, if you see this out in the wild, grab that bag.

Paradise Smokes

Paradise Smokes Cop List
Courtesy of Paradise Smokes

I’m pretty hard on prerolls, so when I find a brand I actually like I’ve got to shout about it from the rooftops. That’s the case with this new brand Paradise Smokes, these things smack. Besides their attractive packaging, Paradise’s prerolls are described easiest as premium smokes. Wrapped in paper, but with a thick glass tip usually reserved for blunt wraps, these things feel almost like a paper cigarillo. I believe they’re bringing flower to market as well, but with multi-packs and singles of prerolls that smoke just as good as a hand roll, some of you might not need it.

Flight Path

Courtesy of Flight Path

I first caught up with these guys at the most recent Hall of Flowers event, and while I missed their products at the actual show, I’m very glad I caught up with them in the following weeks. A new family business based in SoCal, it’s clear this isn’t the first operation the cultivators behind Flight Path were involved in, despite the newly legal brand face. Not only is the experience there, but it’s also clear these guys have taste. Having shown me three different Jealousy cuts and crosses, that could each proliferate the brand on it’s own, it’s also worth noting that their abilities aren’t limited to pushing new—their Zkittles x Kush Mints is one of the best expressions of the plant that I’ve seen.

Fiore’s Pomelo Anderson

Courtesy of Fiore

I’m glad the Zalympix results are out because I had fully intended on writing this piece forecasting their win, but I didn’t want to suck the fun out of the competition while it was still going on. That said, it was clear from cracking the jar that this one was a front runner for any competition. With an aesthetic that will grab you even if you don’t know anything about weed, the aroma inside the jar will hook even the snobbiest of consumers. You’ll taste it, too. Finally, while not dark purple, the nugs have enough dark color to turn on the purp fiends without turning off those that see through that hype, and at least from what I’ve seen, they’re just as photogenic as any of our centerfolds. It’s got the nose, flavor, color, and the look—what more could you ask for?

Airscape Storage

Courtesy of Airscape

I’ve included these jars on the list before as they are my favorite way to store my flower, but I just found out about the mega sized one, so I’m passing on the jewels. Although it’s billed as a coffee bean holder, this is the single best way I’ve found to conserve my flower, especially for longer than a few months. The medium size, which I’ve had, has been able to comfortably hold about two ounces, but the new Kilo model can easily fit a QP. Complete with a vacuum-sealing lid, I’m not going to lie, it may take some effort to open, but you can rest assured the flower will be just as gorgeous as the day you dropped it in.

Compound Genetics’ Blueberry Bananas

Courtesy of Compound Genetics

I’ve praised Compound in this list before, but while I’ve followed their work for awhile, I recently got my first chance to actually sit down with the legend behind the hype, Chris, and discuss a bit about his history and what he’s got coming. More on that later in a dedicated piece, but I’d never want my dear readers to be late on something, so let me drop this little tease now: their new Blueberry Bananas is going to knock your socks off. With a Blueberry nose you’ll undoubtedly remember from the classic Blueberry cuts, this is one of the terpiest strains I’ve tasted in years, with a flavor that will coat your lungs from the first inhale. You’ll get the Banana kick on the finish of the exhale in an almost unexpected twist. Even better, that flavors going to stick with you for awhile after you’re done. It’s appropriately named, and a hell of a good smoke.

Bonus: Ember Valley’s Dole Whip

Courtesy of Ember Valley

I’m literally only including this to let you know that I may be a psychic. That Ember Valley pheno I told you about a few months back in the Hall of Flowers list is actually coming to market, and you’re in for a treat. That’s right, I know, I told you it was a killer before they even had a name, and now it can be yours. How did you get so lucky? Affectionately called ‘Dole Whip’ (which I’m also pretty sure I put in their ear but even if not, c’mon—could you get MORE in the pocket for me?) is the Tropic Truffles x Cookies & Cream cross that was the star of their October hunt. Smelling exactly like a fresh cup of the pineapple goodness, this smoke is not only delicious, but powerful. While I typically like the fruity strains first thing in the morning, this is a killer I keep reserved for sunset, and it’s one that’s never let me down!

The post Jon’s Stone-Cold Quarantine Cop List: 18th Edition appeared first on High Times.

]]>
Can y’all believe it’s almost Christmas? I know I’ve probably said this several times by now, but I’m still feeling like we’re in some kind of fever dream back in Q1 of 2020—now you want me to believe it’s almost 2022? You’re kidding. Where has the time gone?

Well my friends, with the close of the year, we’re finally saying goodbye to the Quarantine Cop List. Despite its best efforts, it seems that the world will not be shutting back down, and this title has grown a bit stale. But never fear my little deviants, because we’re not going anywhere. Starting in January we’ll return with our original column branding, the Stone Cold Cop List, dropping the quarantine and getting straight into the action. Hopefully this makes everyone forget that dark time in our lives, since nothing else is revolving around it anymore… LOL (I’m going to keep the edition numbers running though, so don’t be surprised when you see #19 next month!)

To get into the holiday spirit for this one, I tried to find an entirely new crop for y’all. I will admit, this was a way harder feat than I expected. We’ve covered a lot of ground here already in our 17 past lives. That’s over 170 products! However, thanks to Hall of Flowers Palm Springs event, and my recent trip back to New York, this one should speak to nearly everyone. We’ve even got Ice Cream this time, folks.

Although new to this list, and my coverage, don’t be surprised if you recognize a few of these names. Those with a good view of the market should be familiar with some past award winners, as well as a newly legal operator, mentioned below. You might have also seen the hype around others. If you caught an L too, or just want to tell me about what you’re next cop is, hit me on Twitter and we can hash it out: @joncappetta

Candypaint Flowers

Courtesy Candypaint

Newly licensed and fresh on the scene, Candypaint was without question the belle of the ball at Hall of Flowers Palm Springs event. I should back up and start by saying that I’ve been chasing this kid since last spring when I got a sample of his batch of Runtz, which remains the best expression of the cultivar I’ve seen to date. It’s clear his work has only improved with time, and that his move to the recreational market hasn’t sacrificed any quality. Although his Bolo is the star of the show right now, I also got a peek at the 996 that’s dropping in January and let me just say, you’re going to want to taste it all. Between the smell of these nugs, and the absolutely insane frost coverage, you’re probably going to post pictures of these on your instagram.

Team Elite Genetics

Courtesy Team Elite Genetics

Speaking of posting on your insta, here’s another brand that takes photogenic to entirely new heights. Team Elite should be a familiar name to those who have paid attention to the Cannabis Cup historically. The frequent award winner doesn’t only grow beautiful-looking plants, the terps are next level too. I’ve always been a fan of their Orange varietals, like the ‘Orange Soda’ and ‘Orange Juice’ cuts they’ve run for years, but their new heat is just as vibrant. Pearadise has a deliciously potent flavor that sticks on your pallet through the entire smoke, and will continue to linger long after. Not only that, but this was such a perfectly energizing high that it may become part of my new morning routine.

Mikey Likes It

Courtesy Mikey Likes It

This is a first for the Cop List, but as you all know I’m a snack fiend, it shouldn’t come as much of a surprise that I’m also into Ice Cream. Well friends, let me let you in—I’ve found the top of the frozen dairy mountain. Based out of New York City, but shipping across the country, Mikey Likes It’s Ice Cream is without question the best I’ve ever had, and I’m a guy who has waited in a LOT of lines for ice cream. Mikey pulled up on me during my trip to New York at the next list mention with all of his flavors and unleashed the magic. It was otherworldly. Besides having the single best cookie dough concoction I’ve ever had, his strawberry cheesecake was also a dream. Dude even makes a green ice cream that tastes like cucumbers that somehow smashes. I’ve been drooling about it for weeks since. If you’re in New York it’s definitely worth the trip to one of his three locations, but I’m not waiting until my next trip—we’ll see how cross-country ice cream delivery goes.

Astor Club

Courtesy Astor Club

I was going to mention this spot in the Mikey segment, but these guys deserve their own extended shout so boom. Nestled on the lower east side of Manhattan, Astor Club is a members only cannabis speakeasy that while moving plenty of local work, specializes in exotics hard to acquire even in California. While there are many places across the globe trying to perfect the cannabis lounge experience right now, none provide the kind of atmosphere and community you’ll find at this little hideaway.

Fresh Baked

Courtesy Fresh Baked

My guys at High Rise had put me onto Fresh Baked ages ago, but I’ll be honest, with so much work in the market, it took me much longer than I should have to finally check out all their gear. As you know I don’t mind saying—y’all, I’ve been sleeping. These nugs don’t just look pretty, the nose on them is overpowering—it will turn the volume up on your room damn near instantly. Maybe don’t break these out in public. While their Cherry Fritter is sure to be a crowd pleaser no matter your audience, it was their Versace that I’m going to be chasing after for awhile. The true hybrid won’t knock you out, but it will make the day seem far more gentle, if that makes sense, and you’ll crave it after the high fades.

Oakfruitland

Courtesy Oakfruitland

Another true hybrid, let’s talk about Oakfruitland’s V-Power. I’ve been hearing rumblings about these guys for awhile now, and Hall of Flowers was my chance to finally catch them in real time. While everyone has raved about their Oak-lato, I’m far more interested in new terps, and their soon to release V-Power is just different enough to be dangerous. There’s definitely a hint of that nose in there, but with a cheesier finish, it’s quite nice. My favorite part about these guys though, as it’s far from the state’s norm, is that they list their Terpene counts on the packaging, so if you’re a Caryophyllene fan, this one’s for you.

Salehe’s Crocs

Courtesy Salehe

I’ve never really been a designer fanboy, but there’s something about all of Salehe’s work that just hits on multiple angles for me. Something about his use of natural colors, and familiar patterns, and textures, that reminds me of the feeling I get from Talking Terps work, which for lack of a better term I call an organic cool. Well, he’s done it again, and again with a brand that I previously viewed as even less attractive than his other recent collaborators, New Balance. While that may sound like shade it’s not—it is incredibly more difficult to take something unattractive and make it appealing than it is to make a cool version of the J1 or dunk. Dude’s got me catching L’s on a brand I said I’d never wear. I even woke up early and everything! While the first round went lightning fast (five minutes into presale) and the resale rates are insane, I’m sure there’s more coming so keep an eye out!

GroWolf

Courtesy GroWolf

While there are several brands getting their footing in New York right now, many are just importing their work from out of state and working on building a name for themselves. Few are growing locally, and craft cannabis production hasn’t fully taken off like it has elsewhere. This has to do more with the maturity of the market than anything else, but I was very pleased to meet with GroWolf during my time back home to see some local small batch work. While many people can grow, what I find most impressive about these guys is actually their curing ability—my dude’s finishing RIGHT, which is infinitely harder. The terps on the flowers he showed me were clearly properly tended, so I’m excited to watch him develop. My personal favorite from his recent crop was his Slurricane, if you can manage to snag any!

167 Exotics

Courtesy 167 Exotics

Continuing on the New York tip, here’s a new jack I’m keeping my eye on. Looking like a young Doja Pak for the tri-state area, 167 Exotics is off to a pretty excellent start, pushing exo’s and rubbing elbows with rappers. Currently known as the Maqui plug in NYC, I’ve seen this kid pop up in a lot of the right rooms lately, and with a lot of gas in tow. My personal favorite from his collection was the Sour Sniffits, which had me actually enjoying a vape cart for the first time in years, but given how he moves I expect the hype around this guy to only grow.

BeMore Blunts

Courtesy Be More Blunts

I’m dangerously close to calling these the best blunts in the game right now. I’m typically a little sus of pre-rolled blunt products, even on the legal market. It’s not personal, but if I don’t see the weed go into it I’m not confident the experience is going to be worth the cost premium, and that’s a lot of weed to waste if things go south. Well I’ve only smoked two of these so far, but they’ve both blown me so far away in terms of experience that I’m considering smoking nothing but wood tips any longer. While this is a new brand that I just learned about at Hall of Flowers, this is definitely one I’m more than comfortable saying try ASAP, no matter the SKU. You might end up brand-loyal with these guys.

Puffco Unveils 3D Chamber for Maximum Experience on Peak Pro https://hightimes.com/news/puffco-unveils-3d-chamber-for-maximum-experience-on-peak-pro/?utm_source=rss&utm_medium=rss&utm_campaign=puffco-unveils-3d-chamber-for-maximum-experience-on-peak-pro https://hightimes.com/news/puffco-unveils-3d-chamber-for-maximum-experience-on-peak-pro/#comments Thu, 28 Oct 2021 17:47:51 +0000 https://hightimes.com/?p=283258 The Puffco 3D Chamber design results in bigger clouds, better flavor, more efficiency and a faster heat-up time for a better experience.

The post Puffco Unveils 3D Chamber for Maximum Experience on Peak Pro appeared first on High Times.

]]>
Today Puffco announced the release of its latest product, a 3D Chamber designed to optimize user experience of the award-winning Puffco Peak Pro.

The 3D chamber heats on all sides, fully enveloping the dab material evenly. Bringing the heat into the bowl itself—where the oil sits—results in bigger clouds, better flavor, more efficiency and a faster heat-up time, the company promises.

The 3D chamber uses 30 percent less battery power and produces more vaporous dabs at a lower temperature, optimizing the experience for the dabber. Additional heat sensing capabilities also provide more accuracy, keeping the bowl at its pre-set temperature.

Connoisseurs and dabbers already know about the cutting-edge torchless design of the Puffco Peak Pro—providing electronic heating accuracy without losing any quality. It’s the “best and first” smart rig design, capable of next-level customization and control. The company plans on doing the same with its new chamber technology.

“Puffco created the Peak to make the best experience in cannabis accessible to everyone, designing it to evolve along with its users’ needs and wants,” Puffco CEO and Founder Roger Volodarsky explains. “The 3D chamber delivers on that evolution with better flavor, improved battery efficiency, and more vapor—even from such delicate materials as water hash. It levels up the entire experience instantly.” Puffco was originally founded by Volodarsky in 2013 and is still held privately, with headquarters in Los Angeles, California.

Fans of the standard chamber need not worry: The 3D Chamber is capable of the same four pre-set heat settings as the Peak Pro Standard Chamber, and can be customized on the Peak Pro Platform. Keep in mind that any firmware updates are required to use the 3D chamber.

The 3D Chamber will be available in late October through www.puffco.com.

The company manufactures devices for cannabis concentrate connoisseurs including the Puffco Peak, Peak Pro and the easy-to-carry portable Puffco Plus. The company is known throughout the industry for its award-winning product designs and advanced cannabis concentrate technology.

The company has sold over one million orders of the Puffco Plus since first launching the product in 2016. The company’s recent products are selling at an ever faster pace. The company released The Puffco Hot Knife, an innovative battery-powered dabbing tool earlier this year. You don’t even have to wipe off concentrates with the tool, because it features a ceramic tip that heats rapidly, thus allowing the concentrate to slide off on its own.

Puffco Peak Pro at Puffcon

Puffco is all about meeting its consumers face-to-face, showing appreciation, which was highlighted recently at a local event.

The 3D Chamber made its debut earlier this month at the inaugural Puffcon Block Party. Puffco fans, including High Times representatives, attended the first-ever Puffcon Block Party event on October 2 and had a chance to try out the 3D Chamber’s capabilities first-hand, prior to its public release and on-sale date.

The event transformed approximately four blocks of Downtown Los Angeles, located near the 110 freeway.

The inaugural Puffcon Block Party even featured performances from Flatbush Zombies, Action Bronson and Buddy, and an all-star line up of vendors ranging from Talking Terps and Trove SF to All My Hats Are Dead and Elbo. Puffcon Block Party was free to any vaccinated consumer over the age of 21 who owned a Puffco Peak Pro or Peak OG, or who bought one of the items before the registration closed.

The event featured vendors ranging from, as the event’s “shakedown street” was filled with unique merch and creative wares.

The addition of the 3D Chamber provides better vapor clouds and better flavor, among other perks to the Puffco Peak Pro family of products.

The return of pumpkin spice lattes at coffee shops, whether you like it or not, is usually what marks the arrival of fall these days. Just like that limited-time beverage, there are many other flavors and scents that trigger those nostalgic feelings as Halloween rapidly approaches.

This list contains 13 fall and Halloween-related items to explore—some of which are limited-time offerings, so you won’t be able to get them for long. With Halloween-themed packaging redesigned to remind you of why this is, without a doubt, the best holiday of the year, to new flavors of edibles to try and stylish vape pens to make your fall outfit complete—it’s all here. Check out our list of fun holiday items to pique your interest and let you revel in the season.

Courtesy of Garden Remedies

Spicy Spooky Gummy

Massachusetts-based Garden Remedies tasked its chefs with creating a truly challenging edible. Do you have what it takes to withstand the spice level of a cannabis-infused gummy made from a ghost pepper?

Known for its heat, which is ranked at over one million Scoville Heat Units, the intense ghost pepper is not to be taken lightly. Extra caution should be taken by challengers willing to brave the flavor in this edible—or dare your friends to see if they can withstand the extreme heat. Each Spicy Spooky Gummy pack comes with two fruit chews, each containing 75mg of THC. Share one with a friend and use #spicygummychallenge—if you dare.

Courtesy of Sono

Midnight Mystic Pre-roll

Embrace the spiritual energies of All Hallow’s Eve with a Midnight Mystic Pre-roll, which is rolled with some of Sono’s most powerful herbs. Packed with Mugwort, Cornflower, Blue Lotus and Rose, this amalgamation of herbal ingredients has the potential to help you open your third eye, channel psychic awareness and much more.

More importantly, it also contains 150mg of CBD from a full-spectrum hemp flower to help “maintain homeostasis and manage your aura, aiding in dispelling negativity.” It’s a great way to boost your spiritual wavelengths and energy, or just to feel like an improved version of yourself while you relax during a cool, fall evening.

Courtesy of Insa

Fall Seasonal Pumpkin Pie Bar

Call us basic, but pumpkin pie spices and flavors are the indisputably flavor anthem of fall. Nothing is more perfect than the combination of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, allspice, cloves—and a dose of cannabis. Insa’s 100 percent pure European chocolate bar is infused with all of this to make its Fall Seasonal Pumpkin Pie Bar, made with a sweet caramel crumble.

One package contains 20 pieces, each infused with 5mg of THC, for a total of 100mg per bar. Insa guarantees you’ll “fall” in love with it at one of their Massachusetts dispensaries. We recommend you visit their Salem location, which is currently decked out in a “Haunted Harvest” motif, complete with spooky forest vibes.

Courtesy of Incredibles

Pumpkin Pie Bar

The Incredibles Pumpkin Pie deconstructs the most important parts of a pumpkin pie—i.e. the pumpkin, spices and graham cracker crust—and mixed it all in a white chocolate bar infused with cannabis.

Each bar contains 100mg of THC, making each piece about 5mg each. Embrace that nostalgic holiday dessert where “beauty is in the pie of the beholder.” If this has got you craving pumpkin to go with your fall pumpkin spice latte, check out dispensaries in Colorado, Illinois and Massachusetts.

Courtesy of Platinum Vapes

Piña de los Muertos

Halloween is great and all, but the real party starts on November 1-2 when the Dia de los Muertos, aka the Day of the Dead, is held. The essence of this annual event, which includes vibrant colors and festivities while families honor the deceased, can be found in Platinum Vapes’ Piña de los Muertos gummies.

Infused with sweet, tropical fruit and just a touch of spice, this treat is offered in a bag of 10 gummies, each infused with 10mg of THC (for a total of 100mg THC per package). These little infused beauties are only available for a limited time, and only in California, but those who can get their hands on these will be up and dancing in no time.

Courtesy of STIIIZY

Neon Orange Edition STIIIZY

We wish there were more Halloween-exclusive products like STIIIZY’s newest Neon Orange Battery in honor of the holiday. STIIIZY ain’t no joke—there is a cult-like following of this brand’s batteries in a variety of colors.

The Neon Orange Edition STIIIZY will only be available on stiiizy.com for a limited time while supplies last, for the affordable price of $25. Show off your Halloween spirit in style!

Courtesy of Kahna

Kanha Nano Cannabis Infused Limited Edition Gummies – Mystery Flavor

Halloween is all about obvious scares, but sometimes, it’s scarier not knowing that something is coming. Sunderstorm’s Kanha Nano embraces the mysterious with its limited-edition cannabis infused gummies—and nobody knows what the flavor is (hopefully it isn’t something gross like a certain brand of mystery jelly beans).

Each package contains 10 gummies, individually infused with 10mg of THC, for a package total of 100mg of THC. But with Halloween, where there’s a trick, there’s also a treat. The mystery flavor is part of a contest to see who can guess what the flavor is. Adult residents in California, Colorado and Nevada are eligible to play for a prize. Will you be able to guess correctly?

Courtesy of Kush Queen

The Swamp Queen Collection

This time of year is always full of the trite costume themes, like the usual vampires, werewolves, witches, etc. (see a Spirit Halloween in the vacant business building near you). However Kush Queen’s limited-edition Swamp Queen Collection embraces a different theme, and we’re totally here for it. Playing off of the spooky spiritual theme of a swamp inspired by the “unsung mother of cannabis, New Orleans,” this collection is sure to elevate your state-of-mind to a whole new level.

The collection comes with one Spirit of the Bayou bath bomb, which is infused with 200mg CBD for an ultra-relaxing, full-body experience in a tub that smells of earthy rain and turns the water a rich, green color. The collection also provides two Spirit of the Bayou cannabinoid elixir beverages, each containing 25mg CBD and containing blackberry lemonade to ease you into the ultimate state of relaxation.

Courtesy of Kiva Confections

Blood Orange Camino Cannabis-Infused Gummies

Kiva Confections is well-known for its varied collection of regularly available gummies, chocolate bars and mints, but it’s taking a detour from its usual flavors to one of a spookier variety—blood orange. Blood oranges have a unique depth of flavor, which tends to be a little more floral or tart, versus the usual tangy taste of a regular orange.

Kiva wants to take you “into the shadows” with its limited-edition infused gummies, mixing flavors of blood oranges with the uplifting effects of sativa-like terpenes. Each package contains 20 servings, each with 5mg of THC, for a total of 100mg. Plus, these gummies come in a special, Halloween-featured container, complete with a spooky house chilling in the middle of the woods at night—which is pretty damn cool.

Courtesy of Left-Handed Sugar & Spice Co.

Cannabis-Infused Sugar with Cinnamon

Nothing starts the day better than a little bit of sugary spice on a chilly fall morning. Washington-based Left-Handed Sugar & Spice Co, inspired by the phrase left-handed cigarette, aka a joint, created a cannabis-infused sugar with cinnamon to be used in a variety of different ways.

From using on top of cinnamon toast, snickerdoodles or churros to sweetening your morning cup of coffee or tea, these packets are pre-infused and ready to roll. One package comes with 10 individual packets, each infused with 10mg THC, for a total amount of 100mg THC.

Courtesy of AlienLabs

AlienLabs—Planet Milk

AlienLabs’ Planet Milk strain is a top-secret strain available only in limited quantities. Rumored to be a cross between Milky Way and Planet Dosi, this out-of-this-world strain is sure to give you a run for your money.

Planet Milk packs a serious punch, with its pungent and potent flavor profile. The effects it provides will sooth you just like a glass of milk, which is the perfect pairing with leftover Halloween candy (or if you choose to eat a whole bag of candy you intended to pass out on Halloween, no judgement here).

Courtesy of High Life Farms

Royal Chocolate Bar – Apple Cider

Forget the obsessive people who eat, sleep and drink pumpkin spice in October—apple cider is really where it’s at. High Life Farms has created a tasty, chocolate treat worthy of fall with its Royal Chocolate Bar – Apple Cider.

Tart, tangy flavors of apple infused into a cannabis chocolate is the perfect delectable treat to embrace the mood of the season—and all of these ingredients are sourced from family-owned businesses. One package contains 20 individual pieces, with 5mg per piece, for a total of 100mg. This pack of treats is exclusive to Michigan, so only Michiganders will be able to enjoy the joy of chocolatey apple cider.

Courtesy of Mistifi

Houdini

Mistifi is dazzling vape fans with its Houdini vape pen, made with 500mg of extra virgin cannabis oil. This indica triple-strain product is a blend of Max OG, Herijuana and Blueberry Bomb indica strains. Combined, the potency of this pen is estimated to be 70-80 percent.

According to Mistifi, it only takes one draw to feel the effects (and they boast that the pen contains over 200 draws before it can be disposed of). It’s straight-up illusionary magic that you’ll never have to charge it, since the battery is meant to outlast the oil. It also comes with a sandalwood mouthpiece too, offering a stylish approach to the everyday vaping experience. Harry Houdini was a master of escape arts, but when you’re consuming this Houdini vape, you’re successfully escaping reality for a little while.
